Diplomová práce se zabývá aktérstvím Evropské unie v kontextu ozbrojeného konfliktu na Ukrajině po ruské invazi v roce 2022. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem se EU profilovala jako samostatný bezpečnostní a diplomatický aktér. Analýza je zasazena do teoretického rámce aktérství a Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky, přičemž zkoumá dvě klíčové dimenze aktérství – vojenské nástroje a aktivity a diplomatické aktivity EU v období let 2022–2024. Práce se věnuje využití Evropského mírového nástroje a nástrojů Společné bezpečnostní a obranné politiky k poskytování vojenské pomoci Ukrajině a hodnotí diplomatickou angažovanost EU v mírových jednáních a koordinaci s mezinárodními partnery, zejména NATO a OSN. Výsledky výzkumu přispívají k hlubšímu porozumění schopnosti EU vystupovat jako významný aktér v oblasti mezinárodní bezpečnosti a diplomacie, a to v kontextu jedné z nejzásadnějších krizí současnosti. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis examines the European Union's actorness in the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine after the Russian invasion in 2022. The main objective is to determine whether and how the EU has profiled itself as an independent security and diplomatic actor. The analysis is set within the theoretical framework of actorness and the Common Foreign and Security Policy, examining two key dimensions of actorness - the EU's military instruments and activities and its diplomatic activities in the period 2022-2024. The thesis examines the use of the European Peace Facility and the Common Security and Defence Policy instruments to provide military assistance to Ukraine and assesses the EU's diplomatic engagement in peace negotiations and coordination with international partners, in particular NATO and the UN. The results of the research contribute to a deeper understanding of the EU's ability to act as a major actor in international security and diplomacy, in the context of one of the most crucial crises of our time. |
