Analysis and Restructuring Proposal of the Innovation Week Process

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the organization of Innovation Week at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the Prague University of Economics and Business. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of this initiative, identify its weaknesses, and propose measures to increase its effectiveness, attractiveness, and benefits for students. The work combines qualitative and quantitative research methods – semi-structured interviews with organizers and a student survey – and applies principles of process management to analyze and model the current organizational setup. Based on the collected data, concrete improvement proposals are formulated in areas such as student motivation, feedback collection, communication, and overall program appeal. The proposal section also includes a concept for a digital application that could serve as support for clearer communication, registration, and evaluation of the program. The findings of this thesis may serve as a foundation for the further development and optimization of Innovation Week within the faculty.
