Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá geopolitickými aspekty nerostných surovin, jejich distribucí, kontrolou a vlivem na mezinárodní vztahy. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. První část představuje teoretický rámec, včetně vymezení pojmu geopolitika a role strategických surovin v globální ekonomice. Druhá, analytická část, se opírá o literární rešerši a případové studie, které ilustrují využití nerostných surovin jako nástroje moci ve vnějších i vnitřních konfliktech. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována případům ropného embarga OPEC a čínských exportních restrikcí, stejně jako konfliktům o koltan a lithium v Demokratické republice Kongo a Latinské Americe. Práce rovněž zkoumá protekcionismus jako geopolitický nástroj a hodnotí jeho dopady na obchod a bezpečnost. Cílem práce je vyhodnotit dopady geopolitických konfliktů na sektor nerostných surovin a jakým způsobem mezinárodní politické vztahy ovlivňují dostupnost a cenu těchto komodit. |

| Abstract: |
This bachelor thesis deals with the geopolitical aspects of mineral resources, their distribution, control, and influence on international relations. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part presents the theoretical framework, including the definition of geopolitics and the role of strategic resources in the global economy. The second, analytical part is based on literary research and case studies that illustrate the use of mineral resources as an instrument of power in external and internal conflicts. Special attention is paid to the cases of the OPEC oil embargo and Chinese export restrictions, as well as conflicts over coltan and lithium in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Latin America. The thesis also examines protectionism as a geopolitical tool and assesses its impact on trade and security. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of geopolitical conflicts on the mineral resources sector and how international political relations influence the availability and price of these commodities. |
