Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na energetickou bezpečnost České republiky v podmínkách jejího členství v Evropské unii. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikovat stav a vývoj energetického sektoru v ČR, v období 2019-2023, se zaměřením na využití a přístup k interním a externím energetickým zdrojům, a následně zhodnotit úroveň energetické bezpečnosti České republiky v kontextu evropského členství. Vedlejší cíle zahrnují zmapování legislativních opatření a jejich vlivu na českou energetickou bezpečnost, a identifikaci klíčových výzev a příležitostí, které by mohly formovat budoucí vývoj českého energetického sektoru. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř stěžejních kapitol: Teoretické pojetí energetické bezpečnosti; Právní a institucionální rámec pro oblast energetiky v EU a ČR; Energetická bezpečnost ČR; a Výzvy a příležitosti v energetickém sektoru. Výsledky této práce ukazují na klíčové faktory, které ovlivňují míru energetické soběstačnosti a bezpečnosti České republiky, a její schopnost čelit energetickým výzvám, včetně rostoucích cen energií a potřeby větší spolupráce na evropské úrovni. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis focuses on the energy security of the Czech Republic within the framework of its membership in the European Union. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the state and development of the energy sector in the Czech Republic during the period 2019–2023, with an emphasis on the use of and access to internal and external energy sources, and to subsequently evaluate the level of the country’s energy security in the context of its EU membership. Secondary objectives include mapping the legislative measures and their impact on Czech energy security, as well as identifying key challenges and opportunities that could shape the future development of the Czech energy sector. The thesis is structured into four main chapters: Theoretical Framework of Energy Security; Legal and Institutional Framework for the Energy Sector in the EU and the Czech Republic; Energy Security of the Czech Republic; and Challenges and Opportunities in the Energy Sector. The findings of this thesis highlight the key factors influencing the degree of energy self-sufficiency and security of the Czech Republic, and its ability to respond to energy-related challenges, including rising energy prices and the need for enhanced cooperation at the European level. |
