| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na dopady digitální transformace na auditorskou profesi a proces auditu. Cílem práce je zhodnotit míru vlivu digitální transformace jak z pohledu samotných auditorů, tak z hlediska její prezentace ve výročních zprávách společností. V teoretické části je rozebrán historický vývoj auditu, jeho význam a jednotlivé druhy, přičemž hlavní důraz je kladen na vliv moderních technologií. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou částí. První analyzuje názory auditorů prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, druhá hodnotí míru vlivu digitalizace na výroční zprávy vybraných společností. Tato část navíc obsahuje podrobnou analýzu s grafickým znázorněním vývoje míry vlivu digitalizace v letech 2014–2023. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky provedených analýz. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the impact of digital transformation on the auditing profession and the audit process itself. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of digital transformation influence both from the perspective of auditors and in terms of its presentation in companies’ annual reports. The theoretical part explores the historical development of auditing, its importance, and different types, with particular emphasis on the influence of modern technologies. The practical part is divided into two sections. The first analyzes auditors’ opinions through a questionnaire survey, while the second assesses the degree of digitalization impact on the annual reports of selected companies. This section also includes a detailed analysis with graphical representation of the development of digitalization influence from 2014 to 2023. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the results of the conducted analyses. |
