| Abstract: | Diplomová práce analyzuje využívání Fondů EHP a Norska v oblasti životního prostředí v České republice a Estonsku. Cílem je porovnat jejich využití v obou zemích, srovnat jejich implementační strategii, cíle a další aspekty financovaných projektů. Na základě komparace identifikuje klíčové rozdíly jako odlišné nastavení implementační struktury, rozdílnou míru spolufinancování projektů, odlišnou typologii příjemců a další více či méně významné rozdíly. Výsledky potvrzují, že oba programy vycházejí z obdobných principů, ale liší se v řadě aspektů, které mají vliv na konečnou podobu programů. Přidanou hodnotou práce je komparace dvou národních programů Fondů EHP a Norska, která dle dostupných informací dosud nebyla předmětem výzkumu a také formulace doporučení pro optimalizaci implementačních strategií v budoucích programových obdobích. Hypotéza, že Česká republika a Estonsko využívají Fondy EHP a Norska v oblasti klimatu a životního prostředí k dosažení stejných cílů, s využitím stejného implementačního modelu a se zaměřením na obdobné typy projektů je vyvrácena. |

| Abstract: | The master’s thesis analyzes the use of the EEA and Norway Grants in the environmental sector in the Czech Republic and Estonia. Its aim is to compare their use in both countries and to contrast their implementation strategies, objectives, and other aspects of funded projects. Based on this comparison, it identifies key differences such as the configuration of the implementation structure, the level of project co-financing, the typology of beneficiaries, and other differences of varying significance. The results confirm that although both programmes are grounded in similar principles, they differ in a number of aspects that shape the final design of the programmes. The added value of the thesis lies in its comparison of two national programmes of the EEA and Norway Grants which, according to available information, has not yet been the subject of research and in formulating recommendations to optimize implementation strategies in future programming periods. The hypothesis that the Czech Republic and Estonia use the EEA and Norway Grants in the areas of climate and the environment to pursue the same objectives, employing the same implementation model and focusing on similar types of projects, is refuted. |
