| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá financováním přechodu uhelných regionů České republiky na nízkouhlíkovou ekonomiku, zaměřuje se na podporu z Fondu pro spravedlivou transformaci a analyzuje data dosavadního čerpání alokovaných prostředků z Operačního programu Spravedlivá transformace (OPST). Práce nabízí pohled na principy a nástroje kohezní a environmentální politiky EU a zároveň popisuje základní teoretické pojmy ekonomie životního prostředí. Dále je pozornost věnována strategickým projektům, které představují klíčový faktor plnění cílů programu. Zjištění ukazují, že ačkoli je o podporu značný zájem a registrované žádosti v době zkoumání již naplňují celkovou alokaci, tempo proplácení finančních prostředků zůstává relativně nízké. Syntéza dat o dosavadní implementaci OPST v jednotlivých krajích identifikuje rizika spojená s časovým tlakem a možnou administrativní náročností v závěrečné části programového období, které mohou ohrozit plné využití celkové alokace. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the financing of the transition of coal regions in the Czech Republic to a low-carbon economy, focusing on support from the Just Transition Fund and analyzing data on the current use of allocated resources from the Operational Programme Just Transition (OPJT). The thesis provides an overview of the principles and instruments of EU cohesion and environmental policy and also describes the basic theoretical concepts of environmental economics. Attention is further given to strategic projects, which represent a key factor in meeting the programme’s objectives. The findings show that although there is significant interest in support and the registered applications at the time of research already cover the total allocation, the pace of disbursing financial resources remains relatively low. The synthesis of data on the ongoing implementation of the OPJT in individual regions identifies risks associated with time pressure and potential administrative burdens in the final phase of the programming period, which may jeopardize the full use of the total allocation. |
