| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem izraelské okupace palestinských území od roku 1967 a zkoumá, jak se v průběhu času měnily konkrétní mechanismy kontroly na Západním břehu, ve Východním Jeruzalémě a v Pásmu Gazy. Práce využívá kvalitativní případovou studii v diachronní perspektivě, která umožňuje sledovat proměny okupace ve třech historických obdobích (1967-1993, 1993-2005, 2005-současnost) a srovnávat jejich podobu napříč různými zvolenými územími. Teoretický rámec zde utváří převážně koncept okupační architektury a přístupy zdůrazňující, že prostor, infrastruktura a urbánní násilí fungují jako klíčové nástroje politické moci. Práce ukazuje, že izraelská okupace není jednotným ani statickým režimem, ale flexibilním a adaptivním systémem, který se proměňuje podle politických okolností a charakteru jednotlivých území. Výsledkem je tak komplexní a dlouhodobě udržitelná struktura moci, která Izraeli umožňuje udržovat kontrolu při minimální přímé vojenské přítomnosti na okupovaných územích. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967 and examines how specific control mechanisms in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip have changed over time. The thesis uses a qualitative case study in a diachronic perspective, which allows us to follow the changes in the occupation in three historical periods (1967-1993, 1993-2005, 2005-present) and compare their form across different selected territories. The theoretical framework is largely shaped by the concept of occupation architecture and approaches emphasizing that space, infrastructure, and urban violence function as key instruments of political power. The work shows that the Israeli occupation is not a uniform or static regime, but a flexible and adaptive system that changes according to political circumstances and the character of individual territories. The result is a complex and sustainable power structure that allows Israel to maintain control with minimal direct military presence in the occupied territories. |
