| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vyhodnotit dopady sportovního eventu mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji v roce 2024 konaného v Praze a Ostravě na turismus, se zahrnutím marketingového, ekonomického hlediska. Vyhodnocení bude provedeno na identifikovaných klíčových ukazatelích, jako jsou návštěvnost eventu, sledovanost zápasů a dalších statistik souvisejících s turismem. Vyhodnocení má identifikovat celkové přínosy akce a efektivnost využití finančních zdrojů. Bude využita komparace s mistrovstvím světa v ledním hokeji v roce 2015 pro určení rozdílu v dopadech. Očekávaným přínosem práce je metodická inspirace pro pořadatele eventů v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship held in Prague and Ostrava on tourism, including marketing and economic aspects. The evaluation will be based on identified key indicators such as event attendance, match viewership, and other tourism-related statistics. The evaluation aims to identify the overall benefits of the event and the effectiveness of the use of financial resources. A comparison with the 2015 Ice Hockey World Championship will be used to determine the difference in impact. The expected benefit of the thesis is to provide methodological inspiration for event organizers in the Czech Republic. |
