| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá venkovským maloobchodem a jeho významem pro fungování malých obcí. Teoretická část vymezuje klíčové pojmy, charakterizuje venkovský maloobchod a představuje specifika i současné výzvy venkovských prodejen v českém i mezinárodním kontextu. Praktická část analyzuje fungování a roli prodejny COOP v Chrobolech pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníkového šetření mezi zákazníky. Výzkum identifikuje hlavní faktory ovlivňující stabilitu a vnímání prodejny. Na základě zjištění jsou navržena doporučení pro zlepšení její udržitelnosti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the role of rural retail within the demographic and economic conditions of small municipalities. The theoretical section defines key terms and describes the main factors shaping the sustainability of retail services in rural areas. The practical part focuses on analysing the COOP store in Chroboly through both qualitative and quantitative research methods (Customer questionnaire and interviews) . The analysis reveals core challenges related to store operations, consumer preferences, and local demand. Based on the findings, the thesis presents recommendations aimed at improving the store’s effectiveness and long-term sustainability. |
