| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat makroekonomickou konkurenceschopnost vybraných ekonomik s důrazem na nákladovost práce a kapitálu vybraných zemí Střední Evropy, Severní Evropy a vybraných velkých ekonomik Evropy s USA od roku 2005 do nejnovějšího dostupného roku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá definicemi a odbornými názory na konkurenceschopnost, žebříčky konkurenceschopnosti a zaměřuje se na jednotlivé aspekty jako jsou HDP per capita, produktivita práce, jednotkové náklady práce, akumulace kapitálu a definuje koncept jednotkových nákladů kapitálu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu jednotkových nákladů práce a kapitálu vybraných ekonomik s doprovodnými souvisejícími ukazateli. Praktická část je také doplněna o komparaci výsledků analýzy a propojení Solowova modelu s tématem práce a použitými ukazateli. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze the macroeconomic competitiveness of selected economies with an emphasis on labour and capital costs in selected countries of Central Europe, Northern Europe, and major European economies along with the USA from 2005 to the most recent year available. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with definitions and expert opinions on competitiveness, competitiveness rankings, and focuses on individual aspects such as GDP per capita, labour productivity, unit labour costs, capital accumulation, and defines the concept of unit capital costs. The practical part focuses on the analysis of unit labour and capital costs of selected economies with supporting related indicators. The practical part is also supplemented by a comparison of the results of the analysis and a link between the Solow model and the topic of the thesis and the indicators used. |
