| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem doprovodných programů na atraktivitu kongresových akcí konaných v Praze. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak doprovodné programy ovlivňují vnímání atraktivity těchto eventů z pohledu vybraných stakeholderů, zejména organizátorů (PCO společností), zadavatelů, účastníků a samotné destinace. Teoretická část vymezuje klíčové pojmy meetings industry, doprovodných programů, stakeholderů, atraktivity a dopadu. Praktická část využívá kvalitativní výzkum založený na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech a obsahové analýze, jejichž cílem je identifikovat pozitivní dopady doprovodných programů a pozitivní i negativní ekonomické dopady doprovodných programů. Výsledky ukazují, že doprovodné programy významně přispívají ke spokojenosti účastníků, podporují opakovanou účast, zlepšují mediální obraz a generují socio-kulturní i ekonomické přínosy pro destinaci. Hypotéza, že doprovodné programy mají částečný, avšak relevantní vliv na atraktivitu kongresových akcí, byla potvrzena. Práce zároveň upozorňuje na nedostatek odborné literatury v této oblasti a nabízí doporučení pro další výzkum. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the impact of accompanying programmes on the attractiveness of congress events held in Prague. The aim of the thesis is to determine how accompanying programmes influence the perceived attractiveness of these events from the perspective of selected stakeholders, particularly organisers (PCO), clients, participants, and the destination itself. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to the meetings industry, accompanying programmes, stakeholders, attractiveness, and impact. The practical part employs qualitative research based on semi-structured interviews and content analysis, aiming to identify the positive effects of accompanying programmes as well as their positive and negative economic impacts. The findings show that accompanying programmes significantly contribute to participant satisfaction, support repeat attendance, enhance the media image, and generate socio-cultural and economic benefits for the destination. The hypothesis that accompanying programmes have a partial yet relevant influence on the attractiveness of congress events was confirmed. The thesis also highlights the lack of specialised academic literature in this area and offers recommendations for further research. |
