Tato práce se zabývá problematikou hudebních festivalů se zaměřením na rockové a alternativní akce v České republice. Teoretická část analyzuje klíčové aspekty festivalového managementu, včetně projektového řízení, organizace, dramaturgie, financování, marketingu, volby místa konání, ekologických a udržitelných opatření a metod hodnocení úspěšnosti festivalů. Praktická část se věnuje případové studii festivalu Rock for People, jednoho z nejvýznamnějších českých rockových festivalů. Analýza zahrnuje charakteristiku festivalu, organizační strukturu, plánování, programovou koncepci, financování, marketing, inovace, ekologická opatření a dopad na město Hradec Králové. Práce poskytuje komplexní pohled na organizaci hudebního festivalu a jeho dlouhodobou udržitelnost a může sloužit jako praktický zdroj pro studenty event managementu, organizátory kulturních akcí a další zájemce o festivalovou kulturu.

Abstract:
This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of music festivals, with a focus on rock and alternative events in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part analyzes key aspects of festival management, including project management, organization, programming, financing, marketing, venue selection, ecological and sustainable measures, and methods for evaluating festival success. The practical part is dedicated to a case study of the Rock for People festival, one of the most prominent Czech rock festivals. The analysis includes the festival’s characteristics, organizational structure, planning, program concept, financing, marketing, innovations, ecological measures, and its impact on the city of Hradec Králové. The thesis provides a comprehensive view of music festival organization and its long-term sustainability and can serve as a practical resource for students of event management, cultural event organizers, and others interested in festival culture.
