| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím památek UNESCO k rozvoji cestovního ruchu v Kraji Vysočina. Cílem práce je navrhnout plán, jak propojit památky UNESCO v Kraji Vysočina s dalšími atraktivitami regionu, přičemž záměrem je prodloužit pobyt návštěvníků v kraji. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na význam cestovního ruchu v kontextu regionálního rozvoje, představuje vybrané teoretické koncepty a zabývá se aktuálními trendy v rozvoji turismu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na postavení Kraje Vysočina v rámci cestovního ruchu České republiky prostřednictvím dat o ubytovacích zařízeních a návštěvnosti památek UNESCO, přičemž se také věnuje strategii rozvoje cestovního ruchu a propagačním materiálům kraje. V poslední části diplomové práce je navržen produkt propojující památky UNESCO s dalšími lokalitami v regionu, přičemž je tento projekt zaměřen na tři cílové skupiny – na rodiny s dětmi, aktivní jedince a seniory. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the use of UNESCO monuments for the development of tourism in the Vysočina Region. The aim of the thesis is to propose a plan for connecting UNESCO monuments in the Vysočina Region with other attractions in the region, with the intention of extending visitors' stays in the region. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of tourism in the context of regional development, presents selected theoretical concepts, and deals with current trends in tourism development. The practical part focuses on the position of the Vysočina Region within the Czech Republic's tourism industry through data on accommodation facilities and visits to UNESCO sites, while also addressing the region's tourism development strategy and promotional materials. The final part of the thesis proposes a product linking UNESCO sites with other locations in the region, with the project targeting three groups – families with children, active individuals, and seniors. |
