| Abstract: | Předmětem zájmu této práce je aplikace konkurence v ekonomii na oblast peněz. Peněžní prostředky si v historii konkurovaly nejrůznějšími atributy, které se postupně měnily v závislosti na okolnostech trhu, konkrétní podobě peněz nebo zásazích exekutivy. Cílem práce je ukázat jednotlivé formy a druhy konkurence mezi penězi a dokládat je pomocí konkrétních historických příkladů. V historii lze najít několik fází vývoje peněz, mezi které patřily vzácné komodity typu zlato a stříbro, které se přetvořily do jiných forem typu mincí. Dalším mezníkem byl vznik peněžních substitutů, konkrétně bankovek a depozitních certifikátů, které se začaly lišit svým rezervním krytím. Ekonom von Hayek nabízí nekryté bankovky nabízené svobodným bankovnictvím naproti vládnímu monopolu peněz, kde si peníze již konkurují zcela jiným způsobem. Závěrečnou fází je pohled na dnešní situaci regulovaných měn. Pohled na vývoj konkurence mezi peněžními prostředky je uskutečněn pomocí metodologie rakouské školy. |

| Abstract: | The object of interest of this work is application of the competition on the area of money. Money mediums competed with each other through various characteristics in the history which changed in the dependence on market circumstances, on concrete shapes of money or on interventions of executive. The aim of the work is to show individual forms and kinds of the competition among money and present them with some concrete historical examples. There were some periods of evolution of money where belonged precious comodities gold and silver which were transformed to other forms of coins. The other point was the emergence of money substitutes, particularly of banknotes and deposit certificates which began to differ with reserve cover. The economist von Hayek offers fiduciary banknotes which would be produced by privat banking against a goverment monopol of money where money compete with quite other ways. The final phase offers the situation of by goverment controlled money of today. The sight at the development of the competition among money mediums is realized by helping of the methodology of the austrian school. |
