| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá mezinárodní spoluprací nevládních organizací v oblasti zneužívání chrtů v Irsku a Španělsku. Její zaměření je konkrétně na tyto organizace: Clare Greyhound Sanctuary, Galgos del Sol, Great Hounds in Need, Greyhounds in Need, GREY2K USA Worldwide, Irish Retired Greyhound Trust a Sos Galgos. V práci jsou identifikovány klíčové oblasti činností a formy mezinárodní spolupráce těchto organizací. Výzkum vychází z případové studie těchto dvou států a využívá kvalitativní analýzu primárních zdrojů, zejména webových stránek vybraných organizací. Pozornost je dále věnována způsobům komunikace, adopčním strategiím a fundraisingu. Výsledky ukazují, že navzdory odlišnému prostředí ve zkoumaných zemích vykazují vybrané organizace podobné vzorce jednání, a to zejména v oblasti adopcí, finanční podpory a budování transnacionálních sítí. Z provedené analýzy vyplývá, že mezinárodní spolupráce je jedním z nejdůležitějších nástrojů pro fungování zvolených organizací a zároveň přispívá ke zvyšování povědomí o problematice a k částečnému zmírňování negativních dopadů zneužívání chrtů. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis examines international cooperation among non-governmental organizations addressing the abuse of greyhounds in Ireland and Spain. It focuses specifically on the following organizations: Clare Greyhound Sanctuary, Galgos del Sol, Great Hounds in Need, Greyhounds in Need, GREY2K USA Worldwide, Irish Retired Greyhound Trust, and Sos Galgos. The thesis identifies key areas of activity and forms of international cooperation among these organizations. It is based on a case study of these two countries and employs a qualitative analysis of primary sources, particularly the websites of the selected organizations. Attention is also given to communication methods, adoption strategies, and fundraising. The results show that, despite the different environments in the countries studied, the selected organizations exhibit similar patterns of behavior, particularly in the areas of adoption, financial support, and the building of transnational networks. The analysis shows that international cooperation is one of the most important tools for the functioning of these organizations and also contributes to raising awareness of the issue and to partially mitigating the negative impacts of greyhound abuse. |
