| Abstract: | Migrace je jedním z nejdiskutovanějších témat současného globalizovaného světa. Některé státy se snaží migraci regulovat tak, aby z ní vytěžily různé výhody, například zisk pracovní síly, jiné ji vidí jako hrozbu pro národní bezpečnost a identitu. USA byly postaveny na základě masové migrace z Evropy a dalších míst a také v dnešní době zde hraje migrace důležitou ekonomickou roli. Jelikož je Trump jednou z nejvlivnějších osobností světa, může jeho rétorika ovlivňovat politiku v USA i ve světě, ať už se jedná o změněné migrační toky a jejich důsledky, tak například také o ovlivňování názorů politických elit a široké veřejnosti. Teoretická část této diplomové práce bude rozdělena na dvě kapitoly, politické rámování a politické prostředí USA. Politické rámování bylo vybráno jako specifický způsob Trumpovy komunikace ohledně migrace s cílovou skupinou určitých voličů v USA, kteří mají spřízněnost s Trumpovými názory ohledně migrace. Z politického prostředí USA byl v rámci tématu této diplomové práce pro teoretickou část vybrán jako nejrelevantnější krajní pravicový populismus, který je dlouhodobě stěžejním politickým směřováním Trumpa a Republikánů. USA se také nachází z velké části v post truth společnosti a Trump tuto rétoriku, která je postavená více na emocích než faktech, ve svých příspěvcíh a rozhovorech často využívá. V praktické části této diplomové práce bude provedena analýza Trumpova politického rámování migrace. Pro tento účel budou použity jeho příspěvky na sociální síti Truth Social týkající se tématiky migrace v USA. Příspěvky budou rozebrány v rámci různých typů politického rámování a prostředků rámování. Nakonec bude rozebrán rámovací efekt dle rozdělení voličů podle jejich politické příslušnosti a v závislosti na další politické faktory. |

| Abstract: | Migration is one of the most discussed topics in today's globalized world. Some countries try to regulate migration in order to gain various benefits from it, such as acquiring labour force, while others see it as a threat to national security and identity. The USA was built on mass migration from Europe and other places, and even today migration plays an important economic role there. Since Trump is one of the most influential figures in the world, his rhetoric can affect policy in the USA and globally, whether it concerns changed migration flows and their consequences, or for example, influencing the opinions of political elites and the general public. The theoretical part of this thesis will be divided into two chapters, political framing and the political environment of the USA. Political framing was chosen as the specific way Trump communicates about migration to a target group of certain voters in the USA who share Trump’s views on migration. From the political environment of the USA, for the topic of this thesis, far-right populism was selected as the most relevant for the theoretical part, as it has long been the central political direction of Trump and the Republicans. The USA is also largely in a post-truth society, and Trump often uses this rhetoric, which is based more on emotions than facts, in his posts and interviews. In the practical part of this thesis, an analysis of Trump's political framing of migration will be conducted. For this purpose, his posts on the social site Truth Social concerning the topic of migration in the USA will be used. The posts will be analyzed within different types of political framing and framing means. Finally, the framing effect will be examined according to the division of voters based on their political affiliation and other political factors. |
