Diplomová práce se zabývá tureckou zahraniční politikou vůči Izraeli a Palestině v období vlády Strany spravedlnosti a rozvoje (AKP) od roku 2002. Cílem práce je identifikovat projevy ideologického konceptu neoosmanismu a posoudit, do jaké míry je politika Ankary formována touto ideologií a do jaké míry je výsledkem pragmatických či geopolitických faktorů. Práce je koncipována jako kvalitativní případová studie, která analyzuje projevy neoosmanismu ve třech dimenzích: diskurzivní, politicko-diplomatické a praktické. Diskurzivní dimenze je zkoumána prostřednictvím obsahové analýzy oficiálních prohlášení tureckých představitelů, zatímco politicko-diplomatická dimenze se zaměřuje na bilaterální a multilaterální aktivity Turecka. Praktická dimenze sleduje konkrétní nástroje zahraniční politiky, zejména v oblasti rozvojové, humanitární a kulturní spolupráce. Výsledky analýzy ukazují, že neoosmanismus je přítomen ve všech sledovaných dimenzích, přičemž nejzřetelněji se projevuje v rovině diskurzivní. Vedle ideologických prvků se však v turecké zahraniční politice výrazně uplatňují také pragmatické a geopolitické zájmy. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis examines Turkish foreign policy towards Israel and Palestine during the rule of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) since 2002. The aim of the thesis is to identify the manifestations of the ideological concept of neo-Ottomanism and to assess the extent to which Ankara’s policy is shaped by this ideology, as well as the extent to which it is driven by pragmatic and geopolitical factors. The thesis is designed as a qualitative case study that analyses the manifestations of neo-Ottomanism across three dimensions: discursive, political-diplomatic, and practical. The discursive dimension is examined through content analysis of official statements by Turkish political representatives, while the political-diplomatic dimension focuses on Turkey’s bilateral and multilateral activities. The practical dimension explores specific foreign policy instruments, particularly in the areas of development, humanitarian, and cultural cooperation. The findings indicate that neo-Ottomanism is present across all examined dimensions, most prominently in the discursive sphere. However, alongside ideological elements, pragmatic and geopolitical interests also play a significant role in shaping Turkish foreign policy. |
