| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, do jaké míry odrážely priority kohezní politiky a jejích projektů v období 2014–2020 specifické výzvy čtyř vybraných nejslabších regionů úrovně NUTS 3 států Visegrádské skupiny a zda došlo ve zkoumaném období u sledovaných ukazatelů ke snížení často akcentovaného jevu vnitrostátní divergence. Práce shrnuje současné poznatky týkající se kohezní politiky se zaměřením na relevantní regiony a regionální disparity. Prostřednictvím bodové metody za využití relevantních ukazatelů vybírá nejslabší region každého státu V4. Následně popisuje specifické výzvy týkající se vybraných regionů a pomocí kvalitativní analýzy hodnotí relevanci priorit a jednotlivých projektů kohezní politiky při jejich řešení. Kvantitativní analýza využívá průměrný roční růst a Giniho koeficient k hodnocení vývoje disparit a posouzení, zda u sledovaných ukazatelů došlo v rámci regionů k snížení míry divergence. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this thesis is to determine to what extent the priorities of the EU Cohesion Policy and its projects in the 2014–2020 period reflected the specific challenges of the selected weakest NUTS 3 regions of the Visegrad countries and whether the frequently highlighted phenomenon of intra-state divergence was reduced in the monitored indicators. The thesis summarises existing knowledge regarding cohesion policy, focusing on the relevant regions and regional disparities. Using a scoring method and relevant indicators, it identifies the weakest region in each V4 country. It then describes the specific challenges the selected regions are facing and, using qualitative analysis, evaluates the relevance of Cohesion Policy priorities and individual projects in addressing them. The quantitative analysis uses the average annual growth rate and the Gini coefficient to assess the evolution of disparities and determine whether the observed indicators show a reduction in the degree of divergence within the regions. |
