Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dopadem pandemie Covidu-19 na migrační politiku Japonska se zaměřením na proměnu diskurzu a hodnotových orientací. Teoretický rámec vychází ze Schwartzovy teorie hodnot a konceptů restriktivní a inkluzivní migrační politiky. Cílem práce je analyzovat, jak se migrační politika Japonska proměnila v období před pandemií, během ní a po jejím odeznění a jaký tedy měl na migrační politiku Japonska dopad Covid-19. Výzkum kombinuje kvantitativní analýzu klíčových slov, které a kvalitativní diskurzivní analýzu s využitím softwarů NVivo a VOSviewer. Analyzován je soubor oficiálních dokumentů a mediálních článků z let 2018–2023, přičemž zvláštní pozornost je věnována rozdílům mezi oficiálním a mediálním diskurzem. Ty jsou následně zasazeny do teoretického rámce a interpretovány. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Japan’s migration policy, with a focus on changes in discourse and underlying value orientations. The theoretical framework is based on Schwartz’s theory of basic human values and the concepts of restrictive and inclusive migration policy. The aim of the study is to analyze how Japan’s migration policy evolved before, during, and after the pandemic, and to assess the impact of COVID-19 on its development. The research combines quantitative keyword analysis with qualitative discourse analysis using NVivo and VOSviewer software. The dataset consists of official documents and media articles from 2018–2023, with particular attention paid to the differences between official and media discourse, which are subsequently situated within the theoretical framework and interpreted. |
