Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat časoprostorové rytmy určující spotřební chování seniorů během vánočních svátků skrze optiku Lefebvrovy analýzy rytmů. Výzkum byl realizován formou případové studie využívající hloubkové rozhovory a doplňkovou analýzu nákupních účtenek. Práce zkoumá, jak jsou tyto rytmy konstruovány v kontextu tradičních hodnot, rodinných očekávání a ekonomických omezení. Výsledky identifikují specifické rytmické vzorce vázané na různé typy komodit a služeb. Zjištění ukazují, že spotřeba seniorů je formována snahou o zachování rituální kontinuity, která se střetává s lineárními rytmy moderního trhu a specifickými prostorovými limity.

Abstrakt:
The objective of this Master’s thesis is to analyze the spatio-temporal rhythms that determine the consumption behavior of seniors during the Christmas holidays through the lens of Lefebvre’s rhythmanalysis. The research was conducted as a case study using in-depth interviews and a supplementary analysis of shopping receipts. The work examines how these rhythms are constructed within the context of traditional values, family expectations, and economic constraints. The results identify specific rhythmic patterns associated with different types of commodities and services. The findings suggest that senior consumption is shaped by an effort to maintain ritual continuity, which encounters the linear rhythms of the modern market and specific spatial limitations.
