Cílem bakalářské práce je provést demografickou analýzu Ústeckého kraje od posledního sčítání lidu, domů a bytů. V první části práce jsou analyzována data za rok 2024 získaná z Českého statistického úřadu, přičemž je provedeno srovnání s hodnotami za celou Českou republiku. Jsou vypočteny základní věkové charakteristiky a odvozeny obecné míry. Dále je aplikována nepřímá standardizace, sestaveny úmrtnostní tabulky, realizovány projekce obyvatelstva a odhadnuty počty živě narozených. Součástí analýzy je rovněž hodnocení migračních procesů mezi okresy Ústeckého kraje. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na populační projekci, která je provedena s využitím extrapolačních postupů a kohortně komponentní metody. V závěru práce jsou formulována doporučení vycházející ze zhodnocení silných a slabých stránek demografického vývoje Ústeckého kraje identifikovaných na základě provedené kvantitativní analýzy.

Abstrakt:
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to conduct a demographic analysis of the Ústecký Region since the most recent Population and Housing Census. The first part analyses data for the year 2024 obtained from the Czech Statistical Office, with a comparison to national-level data for the Czech Republic. Age characteristics and general demographic measures are calculated. Furthermore, indirect standardization is applied, life tables are constructed, population projections are performed, and the number of live births is estimated. The analysis also includes an examination of migration flows between districts within the Ústecký Region. The second part of the thesis focuses on population projection using extrapolation methods and the cohort-component method under various scenarios. In addition, expected developments in the educational structure of the population are outlined. The thesis concludes with a summary of the main findings and provides recommendations based on the identified strengths and weaknesses of demographic development in the Ústecký Region.
