| Abstrakt: | Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu financování a dostupnosti kultury v ČR, zaměřuje se obzvlášť na divadelní scénu. První kapitola práce popisuje kulturní sektor jako celek, objasňuje rozdíly ve financování kultury napříč sektory a oblastmi. Uvádí, že pro scénická umění, pod která divadlo spadá, je veřejné financování zcela zásadní. Veřejné financování kultury v ČR je decentralizováno, kultura je nejvýznamněji financována z rozpočtů obcí a krajů. Druhá kapitola analyzuje divadelní sektor v letech 2014–2024 v ČR, popisuje vývoj cen za vstupenky a poukazuje na silnou koncentraci divadel v Praze. Třetí kapitola věnující se dotazníkovému šetření popisuje, že pro většinu respondentů je kultura i divadlo dostupná záležitost. Zároveň odhaluje, že existují bariéry bránící v častějších návštěvách divadla. I přes popsanou koncentraci divadel v Praze nelze na základě výsledků chí-kvadrát testu nezávislosti zamítnout nulovou hypotézu o nezávislosti mezi místem působení respondenta a přítomností těchto bariér. |

| Abstrakt: | This master’s thesis deals with cultural financing and accessibility in the Czech Republic, choosing theatre as a main field of interest. The first chapter describes the cultural sector as a whole and explains the differences in cultural financing across various sectors and fields. It highlights that public funding is essential for performing arts, which include theatre. Public cultural funding in the Czech Republic is decentralized, with culture being financed significantly through municipal and regional budgets. The second chapter analyses the theatre sector between 2014 and 2024, describes the development of ticket prices and points out the strong concentration of theatres in Prague. The third chapter, a questionnaire survey, shows that culture and theatre are accessible to the majority of respondents. At the same time, it reveals the existence of barriers preventing more frequent theatre attendance. Despite the described concentration of theatres in Prague, based on the results of the chi-square test of independence, the null hypothesis of independence between respondents’ main area of activity and the presence of these barriers cannot be rejected. |
