| Abstrakt: | V této bakalářské práci je řešena problematika Business Intelligence. Hlavním cílem práce je návrh prototypového řešení Business Intelligence v konkrétní strojírenské společnosti Otsuka Brano, s.r.o. To je prováděno na základě analýzy společnosti, definování strategických cílů a uživatelských požadavků. Práce se skládá ze dvou základních částí -- teoretické a praktické. V části teoretické dochází k postupnému objasnění termínu Business Intelligence. K vysvětlení základních principů, komponent obecné architektury řešení Business Intelligence. Praktická části je zaměřena na provedení analýzy vybrané společnosti. Jsou definovány vize a strategické cíle společnosti. Na základě toho se poté postupuje při návrhu řešení BI. Přínosy mé bakalářské práce spočívají v analýze společnosti Otsuka Brano s.r.o. a následném návrhu řešení Business Intelligence, které by mohla společnost dále využít například při sledování plnění svých cílů. Mimo by toto prototypové řešení mohlo dané společnosti pomoci při rozhodování o tom, zda je pro ni vhodné praktické využití BI či nikoliv. |

| Abstrakt: | This thesis approaches the problem of business intelligence. The main goal of my work is to design a prototype business intelligence solution in particular machinery company Otsuka Brano Ltd. The solution is based on the company analysis, definition of strategic objectives and, user requirements. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the term of Business Intelligence is gradually clarified. The basic principles and components of the general architecture of Business Intelligence are also explained. The practical part concentrates on the analysis of the selected company. Vision and strategic objectives are defined. Based on those is the approach of the BI solution design. The benefits of my work consists of the analysis of Otsuka Brano Ltd. and the following design of business intelligence solution, which could be used by the company for tracking the performance of their goals. In addition, this prototype solution could help the company to decide, whether the practical use of BI is beneficial or not. |
