| Abstrakt: | Diplomová práce se zaobírá problematikou vybraných trendů ICT poslední doby. Klíčovou osobou pro celou práci je CIO. Cílem práce je popsat a komentovat propojení role CIO s trendy a výzvami, které před ním v dnešní době vyvstávají. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle je nutné uvědomit si a popsat současné trendy prostřednictvím integrace průzkumů renomovaných společností, které se zabývají trhem ICT. Nepostradatelný je oborový přesah těchto studií, které se věnují technologiím. Přínosem práce je propojení byznysu a ICT na úrovni role CIO. Abstrakce od technických specifik příslušného trendu a zároveň od manažerského pohledu vytváří obrázek o výzvách pro CIO v kontextu společnosti. Úvodní část práce reflektuje pozici ICT ve společnostech a vytváří obrázek o celospolečenském propojení. Těžiště hlavní části práce tvoří kapitoly věnované jednotlivým trendům: analýza dat, analýza obsahu, social byznys, velká data, bezpečnost ICT a vzdělávání. Každá z těchto hlavních kapitol popisuje současný stav oblasti ICT a její roli ve společenském kontextu. Poslední část každé z hlavních kapitol je věnována přínosu a roli CIO pro jmenovanou oblast. Je popsán jeho vliv na výzvu, jeho hlavní spojenci a případná rizika trendu. V závěru práce je zhodnocen přínos CIO pro společnost a jeho role čelit výzvám, které pro něj ICT oblast přichystává. CIO hraje důležitou roli jako zodpovědná osoba za dané výzvy. Nicméně z práce vyplývá, že CIO není jedinou důležitou součástí soukolí, která je nezbytná pro úspěšné vytěžení maxima z každé výzvy. |

| Abstrakt: | The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the chosen current trends of ICT. The CIO represents the crucial person of the whole thesis. The aim of the thesis is to describe and comment on the connection of the role of the CIO with trends and challenges he/she has to face in recent times. To fulfill this aim it is necessary to realize the current trends through the integration of surveys of the renowned companies dealing with the ICT market. The field overhang of these studies dedicated to technologies is essential. The benefit of the thesis consists of the connection of the business and ICT at the CIO level. The abstraction from technical specifications of the particular trend as well as from the managerial point of view creates an image of the challenges for the CIO in the company context. The introductory part of the thesis reflects the position of ICT in companies and creates an image of the internal connection of the company as a whole. The core of the main part of the thesis contains chapters dedicated to the trends in particular: data analysis, content analysis, social business, big data, ICT security and education. Each of these main chapters describes the current state of the ICT field and its role in the company context. The last part of each main chapter deals with the benefit and the role of the CIO for the mentioned field. CIO's influence on the challenge, allies and possible risks of the trend are mentioned. At the end of the thesis the benefit of the CIO for the company and his/her role of facing challenges which come from the ICT field are evaluated. CIO plays an important role as a responsible person for particular challenges. Nevertheless, as it is apparent from the thesis, the CIO is not the only important part of the system that is necessary to create the maximum from each challenge. |
