The Bachelor's thesis deals with the blog phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate blogs as a marketing tool. The theoretical part is devoted to the history of blogging, categorization of blogs and their marketing potential. The practical part examines collaboration between bloggers and companies by the method of qualitative research. A case study of a particular blog is used for a better demonstration followed by a open-ended survey among Czech commercial bloggers. The thesis focuses exclusively on the Czech territory where the practice represents a young marketing discipline.
