Integrace podnikových aplikací z pohledu udržovatelnosti a rozšiřitelnosti

Due to the heterogeneity of today's enterprise information systems and the need for their coherent functioning, the need to build integration of enterprise applications is becoming more and more common today. These integrations can be implemented using very simple procedures to solve the interconnection of two or few applications. On the other hand, however, there are cases where it is necessary to link a large number of applications or systems in which large volumes of data are transferred. Each integration can have its own pitfalls that bring a certain burden for the organization. In the event that integration is properly implemented, it brings considerable benefits to companies and competitive ad-vantages. On the other hand, there are also situations when the integration project is in great difficulty in implementing both its own and the later maintenance of the solution. This may be due to the incompetence of the integrators or the organization itself, the ina-bility to define the integration requirements, or by continually expanding and enhancing them. This work focuses on detecting such dangers and the most common failures in the area of extensibility and maintainability of integration. Based on these findings, recom-mendations are then formulated to ensure the long-term maintainability and extensibility of enterprise application integration solutions, and a set of evaluation tables are created. Following these recommendations, and using these tables, an analysis of a concrete case of integration in a specific organization is being done, problems are identified and solutions to these problems based on previously formulated recommendations are proposed.In the thesis, the main influence of the analytical and preparatory phases of the integration solution creation, its standardization, the documentation and the use of integration tools on the final maintainability and extensibility were stated.
