| Abstrakt: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá zdravotnickým systémem Spojených států americ-kých, který je velmi složitý a dlouhodobě se potýká s problémy, kterými jsou vysoký počet nepojištěných osob, vysoké ceny zdravotního pojištění a vysoká nákladovost systému. Po mnoha nezdařených pokusech předcházejících autorit o reformování se reformu zdravotnictví podařilo prosadit a realizovat Obaracku Obamovi. Tato reforma se nazývá Affordable Care Act nebo Obamacare.Cílem práce je zjistit, zda Obamova reforma zdravotnictví pomohla vyřešit pro-blémy ve zdravotnickém systému USA. Pro lepší orientaci v řešené problematice jsou v první části práce definovány základní pojmy, dále je popsán systém zdravot-nictví USA a jeho problémy. V druhé části se práce věnuje už změnám a opatřením, která byla do systému implementována v rámci uzákonění Obamacare. Pro zodpo-vězení otázky, která je cílem práce, je dále provedena analýza dopadu těchto změn na systém zdravotnictví a na jeho problémy. |

| Abstrakt: | The bachelor thesis deals with the US health care system, which is very complicated and over a long period has many problems such as high number of uninsured people, high health insurance prices and high expenditure of the health care system. There were many failed attempts to reform the health care system. After a long time Barack Obama succeeded and he could implement his health care refom. This reform is called the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare.The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether Obama´s health care reform has helped to solve the problems in the US health care system. For a better orientation in the theme, there are defined the basic concepts of heath in the first part of the thesis and then there is described the US health system and its problems. In the second part, the thesis deals with the changes and measures that were implemented in the health system within the Obamacare law. In order to answer the question, which is the aim of the thesis, there is analyzed the impact of Obamacare´s changes to problems of the US system in the last part of the thesis. |
