| Abstrakt: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje otázce historického a strategického významu města Sevastopol. Cílem dané práce je na základě historické analýzy a na příkladě aktuální vojenské reformy a důležitých strategických faktorů ukázat, jaké postavení má Sevastopol v dnešní politice Ruské federace. První část práce se zabývá otázkou, jak se měnil význam města v závislosti na historickém kontextu, následuje vysvětlení jeho strategické role s ohledem na teorii bezpečnosti a teorii neorealismu. V druhé části práce se autor snaží pochopit, zda se Sevastopol stál jádrem ruské vojenské politiky a orientace, a pak zjistit, do jaké míry je Sevastopol zahrnut do Programu modernizace a obnovení ozbrojených sil Ruska, který spadá do období 2008-2020. V poslední podkapitole autor práce uvádí výňatky z rozhovoru s gubernátorem města Dmitrijem Ovsjanikovym. |

| Abstrakt: | This bachelor thesis deals with the question of historical and strategic role of the city of Sevastopol. The aim of this work is to show on the basis of historical analysis and on the example of current military reform and important strategic factors, the position of Sevastopol in today's politics of the Russian Federation. The first part of the thesis deals with the question of how the meaning of the city changed depending on the historical context, followed by an explanation of its strategic role based on the theory of security and the theory of neorealism. In the second part of the thesis, the author tries to understand whether Sevastopol is now at the heart of Russian military policy and orientation, and then to determine to what extent Sevastopol is included in the Russian Renewal and Modernization Program of Russia's Armed Forces for the period 2008-2020. In the last subchapter, the author presents the extracts from the interview with the governor of the city Dmitry Ovsjanikov. |
