| Abstrakt: | Tato práce se zabývá trendy na trhu Warehouse Management Systémů (WMS). V práci je popsána historie skladových systémů, jejich obecný popis a jednotlivé procesy, které jsou ve skladech řešeny. Dále jsou vybrány některé moderní trendy v technologiích (big data, cloud, automatizace, internet of things, Location Based Services) a tyto technologie jsou teoreticky popsány. V praktické části jsou dotazovány někteří z velkých dodavatelů WMS na způsob, jakým implementují tyto technologie. Jejich odpovědi jsou analyzovány a uvedeny do kontextu s dalšími externími analýzami (například Hype cycle nebo Magic quadrant od firmy Gartner). V závěru je konstatováno, jak vybraní dodavatelé implementují ve svých WMS řešeních vybrané technologie. |

| Abstrakt: | This master’s thesis focuses on trends on the market of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Theoretical part covers the history of warehouse systems, their general description and different processes which are needed in warehouses. It also describes chosen modern technologies, which are currently trending on the WMS market (such as big data, cloud technologies, automation, internet of things, location-based services). In the next part of this thesis, chosen big WMS vendors were asked to fill in a questionnaire focused on the way they implement those chosen technologies. Their answers are summarized in the last part of this thesis and those answers are also compared to other third-party analyses (such as Gartner’s Hype Cycle and Magic quadrant analysis). |
