| Abstrakt: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá empirickým a ekonometrickým zkoumáním hypotézy „twin deficitu“ na příkladu Ruské Federace v období 2005-2018. Stěžejním cílem je odpověď na otázku „Hrozí Ruské Federaci „twin deficit“?“. Teoretickou část představují keynesiánský a ricardiánský přístupy k teorii twin deficitu a řada dalších vědeckých studií, které se zabývaly uvedenou problematikou. V druhé kapitole byla provedena komplexní analýza výkonové bilance, běžného účtu, kapitálového účtu, finančního účtu, zahraniční investiční pozice země, fiskálního vývoje, hrubého a čistého zahraničního dluhu. Závěrečná třetí kapitola obsahuje výsledky provedené ekonometrické analýzy. K potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotézy posloužily korelační analýza, regresní analýza, Grangerův test časové kauzality a vektorová autoregrese. Výsledky provedených analýz potvrdily platnost dané hypotézy. |

| Abstrakt: | This diploma thesis deals with the empirical and econometric analyzes of the "twin deficit" hypothesis on the example of the Russian Federation in the period 2005-2018. The main goal is to answer the question "Is the Russian Federation in danger of a “twin deficit”?”. The theoretical part is represented by Keynesian and Ricardian approaches to the theory of twin deficit and a number of other scientific studies that dealt with this issue. In the second chapter, a comprehensive analysis of the trade balance, current account, capital account, financial account, international investment position of the country, fiscal development, gross and net foreign debt was performed. The final third chapter contains the results of the econometric analysis. Correlation analysis, regression analysis, Granger causality test and vector autoregression were used to confirm or refute the hypothesis. The results of the performed analyzes confirmed the validity of the given hypothesis. |
