Abstrakt: | Since the 90’ CSR represents a necessary part of a corporate strategy; the market sector became a significant player in the aid word alongside governments, multi-national institutions and non-governmental organisations. Based on the way CSR projects are often presented in a business literature companies provide a positive impact and change the world into a better place. Detailed studies of aid and aid projects supported by seven decades of institualized international aid speak otherwise. Based on the available literature covering the contemporary knowledge and experience of CSR, the thesis will (1) scrutinize the ways CSR projects are being presented and (2) look closely for disruptions between the ways CSR projects are being presented and the impact they might actually have.Methodologically, the study will draw largely on a critical reading of business literature as well as on a research conducted on the concept, beliefs and practices of the CSR in other fields of social sciences with a special focus on a detailed ethnographic studies. |
