| Abstrakt: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá self-managementem pacientů s diabetes mellitus, zejména identifikací nástrojů a principů self-managementu pacientů s tímto one-mocněním. Cílem práce je prokázat, jaká je souvislost mezi spokojeností pacientů s léčbou diabetu a self-managementem spojeným s kontrolou glykémie v rámci běž-ných terapeutických možností pro pacienty. Literární rešerše se zaobírá principy self-managementu chronického onemocnění, které vytváří slibnou strategii léčby a představením onemocnění diabetes mellitus pro lepší pochopení komplexnosti. Také se zaměřuje na zdravotní výdaje v České republice na léčbu diabetu. Výdaje ze zdravotního pojištění ČR stále narůstají a jsou důležitým ekonomickým segmentem. V neposlední řadě nabízí přehled možných nástrojů self-managementu dostupných v České republice. V praktické části jsou výsledky primárních dat z dotazníkového šetření vyhodnoceny prostřednictvím deskriptivní statistiky a lineární regrese, které odpovídají na výzkumnou otázku. Z výsledků analýzy lze prokázat statisticky významný vztah mezi spokojeností a self-managementem s relativně silnou mírou závislosti. |

| Abstrakt: | This bachelor thesis deals with the self-management of patients with diabetes mellitus, especially the identification of tools and principles of self-management of patients with this disease. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the relationship between patient satisfaction with diabetes treatment and self-management associated with glycemic control within the usual therapeutic options for patients. The literature search deals with the principles of chronic disease self-management, which creates a promising treatment strategy and the introduction of diabetes mellitus for a better understanding of complexity. It also focuses on health expenditures in the Czech Republic for the treatment of diabetes. Expenditures from the Czech health insurance are still growing and are an important economic segment. Last but not least, it offers an overview of possible self-management tools available in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the results of the primary data from the questionnaire survey are evaluated through descriptive statistics and linear regression, which answer the research question. The results of the analysis show a statistically significant relationship between satisfaction and self-management with a relatively strong degree of dependence. |
