Potenciál kryptoměn z hlediska možnosti jejich využití ve sféře gastronomického podnikání

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment in the sphere of catering business. The topic of cryptocurrencies has gained high popularity in recent years. With the increasing interest in the ways of using cryptocurrencies, there is also an increasing emphasis on the regulation of cryptocurrencies, the establishment of rules for their use and the awareness of citizens in this area. The topic of my thesis was chosen in order to reveal the theoretical framework of cryptocurrencies, to find out the awareness of citizens about the cryptocurrency sector, and their motivations and preferences in terms of choosing cryptocurrencies as a payment method. In terms of this purpose, the methodology of the thesis was chosen, which consists of literature search, questionnaire survey and its analysis. The literature review contains important sources of information, based on which the current state of knowledge was summarized. In the questionnaire survey, 208 responses were obtained and processed, which served as the basis for determining the criteria for recommending to food service providers the introduction of cryptocurrency as a payment method in their business premises. The work is particularly suitable for current and potential foodservice entrepreneurs who want to follow the trends.
