Within the methods of strategic analysis, the first step is to analyze the company's environment, which consists of an analysis of the macro-environment and micro-environment. The PESTEL analysis is used to analyze the macro-environment, and the analysis of the micro-environment consists of a characterization of the industry and Porter's Five Forces model. VRIO analysis and financial analysis are mainly used to analyze internal resources. The synthesis of these methods is performed through a SWOT analysis, from which strategic recommendations for the company are subsequently formulated. |
