Abstrakt: | This bachelor thesis examines the impact of the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) on Vietnamese Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The literature review provides an overview of the EVFTA, its potential impact on Vietnamese SMEs, and previous research on the topic and relevant concepts and theories related to entrepreneurship and SMEs. The mixed methodology used in this research includes research design and approach covering the overview of the method used, data collection is particular for the quantitative method, analysis methods, sample selection, description, and interview guide used for the qualitative approach. The findings and analysis section presents an overview of the data and sample characteristics, an analysis of the influence of the EVFTA on Vietnamese SMEs, and a comparison of the experiences and perspectives of different types of SMEs. The discussion section interprets the findings to make straightforward the research questions lead by the hypothesis, provides implications for entrepreneurship theory and practice, and identifies limitations and recommendations for future research. Overall, the research findings suggest that the EVFTA positively impacts Vietnamese SMEs, including opportunities for growth and export, access to finance, technology, and strengthened legal and regulatory frameworks for business. |
