Etické otázky aplikace umělé inteligence

Artificial intelligence is already appearing in almost every area of human activity, so it is necessary to address the ethical principles involved in its use. This bachelor thesis focuses on the ethical issues of the application of artificial intelligence. The main aim of this thesis is to show and discuss, through a case study, the ethical issues that arise from the application of ethics to specific areas of artificial intelligence application. A secondary aim is then to explain the concept of artificial intelligence and to briefly introduce its history for a better understanding. For this purpose, the method of literature search is used. In the first part of the thesis, the term artificial intelligence is defined and the different components of artificial intelligence are explained. Then, the main milestones in the history of artificial intelligence that have shaped the field and influenced its current state are presented. The next section focuses on ethics as a philosophical discipline and ethics in relation to artificial intelligence. In particular, it explains the five most widely used ethical principles in the context of artificial intelligence. The last part will then apply these basic ethical principles to specific situations in selected areas where AI is used and the author will try to use them to discuss the ethical issues involved. This will include the fields of autonomous vehicles, generative AI and healthcare.
