Abstrakt:
The process of providing financial goods to the unbanked and disadvantaged population is known as financial inclusion. Through this procedure, people and companies can meet their financial demands and have convenient access to financial services like deposits, loans, insurance, payments, and cash transfers. Stated differently, it refers to providing financial services at a reasonable cost to the poor and low-income segments of society (Gwalani & Parkhi, 2014). This study's primary goal was to evaluate how financial technology use can increase SMEs' financial inclusion in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey and a documentary research design. In a descriptive survey, questionnaires are sent in an effort to collect information for the purpose of analyzing particular hypotheses and responding to research questions. To aid in the collection of primary data for the study, survey design is used. With the use of this design, numerical data was produced using the questionnaire's instrument. Relevant data was gathered through the use of surveys and data analysis on the current population. Additionally, to supplement the primary data gathered from the conducted survey, documentary data gleaned from already-existing data, the works of previous researchers, and official records were employed. For this study, a sample size of 100 SMEs was used.
