Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá event marketingem a motivačními faktory dospělých účastníků extrémních závodů. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo identifikovat motivační faktory dospělých účastníků extrémních závodů. Za zástupce extrémních závodů byly zvoleny extrémní překážkové závody Spartan Race. Výzkumný vzorek byl vybrán účelově a skládal se z 16 respondentů. Sběr dat byl realizován prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů. Data byla analyzována induktivní tematickou analýzou. Analýzou hloubkových rozhovorů bylo identifikováno 9 motivačních faktorů dospělých účastníků extrémních překážkových závodů Spartan Race. Některé identifikované motivační faktory dospělých účastníků extrémních překážkových závodů Spartan Race se shodují s motivačními faktory dospělých účastníků jiných extrémních závodů, některé se shodují s motivačními faktory dospělých účastníků eventů jako takových a některé dosud identifikovány nebyly.

Abstrakt:
This bachelor thesis deals with event marketing and motivational factors of adult participants in extreme races. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to identify the motivational factors of adult participants of extreme races. Spartan Race extreme obstacle races were chosen as a representative of extreme races. The research sample was purposively selected and consisted of 16 respondents. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed by inductive thematic analysis. The analysis of the in-depth interviews identified 9 motivational factors of adult participants in the Spartan Race extreme obstacle race. Some of the identified motivational factors of adult participants in Spartan Race extreme obstacle events matched the motivational factors of adult participants in other extreme races, some matched the motivational factors of adult participants in the events themselves, and some had not yet been identified.
