The subject of the thesis is the relationship between selected socio-economic determinants (unemployment, income inequality, educational level of the population) and health care expenditures. The object of this study is the examined EU countries including Great Britain, individual indicators of socio-economic development and at the same time expenditure on healthcare. In the theoretical part, the theoretical background of health care, health care expenditures and selected determinants are presented. In the analytical part, research methods are used: time trends over the period 2010-2021 and regression analysis. Data are taken from the official websites of the World Bank and Eurostat. |
