The topic addresses the changes and challenges in the music market brought about by digitization, the development of streaming platforms, and the resulting availability of more data about listeners. The goal of the thesis is to investigate the statistical relationships between these two indicators and determine whether there is a connection between them. The work is based on theoretical approaches in the field of music and available research in foreign markets, which are summarized in the first, theoretical part of the thesis. These findings are subsequently tested in the context of the Czech music market. In the practical part, the research focuses on the analysis of collected data and its interpretation with regard to the Czech Republic and selected localities. In the conclusion, the findings are summarized, and goals for subsequent research are established. |
