The aim of the thesis is to evaluate these implementations and propose recommendations for other smart tools. The thesis first introduces the concept of Smart Villages and approaches to its definition, which identifies the relatively high flexibility of the concept and the need for an individual approach to individual settlement units. Municipalities with examples of good practice are presented, such as Slavičín, Trojanovice, Příluka, Mukařov or the Slovak municipality of Košeca. Structured interviews with mayors from some of these municipalities reveal inspiring smart projects, such as smart waste management systems and the successful activation and participation of citizens, which serve as key sources of inspiration for the recommendations proposed for Moravany. It is found that smart implementations in the municipality have objectively increased the quality of life of citizens, but their full potential remains untapped. The main recommendations include, for example, the creation of stronger ties between the municipality and citizens, introducing an incentive-based waste management system, or implementing smart water management solutions. The originality of the work lies in the specific focus on the municipality of Moravany in the context of Smart Villages, and the added value is visible especially in the practical part of the work, thanks to the thoroughly conducted research and subsequent translation into specific smart proposals that can be implemented in the municipality. |
