Abstrakt:
Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuálním fenoménem agroturismu, jeho rostoucím významem v kontextu urbanizace a zvýšeného zájmu o pobyt v přírodě, zejména po pandemii Covid-19. Cílem práce je prozkoumat, jak agroturismus může přispět k rozvoji regionů a udržitelného cestovního ruchu v České republice, a zároveň zjistit současný profil a potřeby agroturistů. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část se věnuje teoretickému vymezení klíčových pojmů jako agroturismus, agroturistika, udržitelný cestovní ruch a profil agroturisty. Druhá část práce poskytuje praktický pohled na činnost ekofarem a jejich význam v oblasti agroturismu. Práce se zaměřuje na porovnání dvou konkrétních regionů – Karlovarský kraj a Kraj Vysočina. V rámci terénního průzkumu byly provedeny osobní rozhovory s majiteli farem a jejich hosty, což umožnilo zachytit současný stav a potenciál rozvoje agroturismu v těchto oblastech. Třetí část práce obsahuje vyhodnocení získaných dat prostřednictvím kvalitativních i kvantitativních metod, jako jsou analýza SWOT, komparace regionů a deskripce profilu agroturistů. Na základě této analýzy je v závěru zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka: „Jaký je současný profil a potřeby agroturistů v České republice?“ Výsledky práce přinášejí doporučení, jak efektivněji rozvíjet agroturismus a zvýšit jeho přínos pro regionální rozvoj a udržitelné formy cestovního ruchu.

Abstrakt:
The diploma thesis deals with the current phenomenon of agritourism, its growing importance in the context of urbanization and increased interest in spending time in nature, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of the thesis is to explore how agritourism can contribute to the development of regions and sustainable tourism in the Czech Republic, and at the same time to determine the current profile and needs of agritourists. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is devoted to the theoretical definition of key concepts such as agritourism, sustainable tourism and the profile of an agritourist. The second part of the thesis provides a practical perspective on the activities of ecofarms and their importance in the field of agritourism. The thesis focuses on a comparison of two specific regions – the Karlovy Vary Region and the Vysočina Region. As part of the field research, personal interviews were conducted with farm owners and their guests, which made it possible to capture the current state and potential for the development of agritourism in these areas. The third part of the thesis contains an evaluation of the obtained data through qualitative and quantitative methods, such as SWOT analysis, comparison of regions and description of the profile of agritourists. Based on this analysis, the main research question is answered in the conclusion: "What is the current profile and needs of agritourists in the Czech Republic?" The results of the thesis provide recommendations on how to develop agritourism more effectively and increase its contribution to regional development and sustainable forms of tourism.
