Abstrakt:
Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu míry využití IT technologií a pokročilých technologických trendů při implementaci ESG strategie v odvětví mobilních operátorů v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. V první části je definován pojem ESG, jeho význam pro podniky, ESG strategie, její implementace a související legislativa. Dále je v této části prozkoumána role IT trendů, jako jsou umělá inteligence, big data a blockchain, a jejich vliv na implementaci ESG strategií. Kromě toho je uveden přehled specializovaných softwarů pro správu ESG dat, jejich funkcionalit a dostupných nástrojů a modulů ERP pro ESG data management. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na formulaci a ověřování výzkumných hypotéz prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Pomocí získaných dat jsou hypotézy vyhodnoceny a aktuální stav implementace ESG strategií ve vybraných firmách je porovnán s jejich očekáváními v horizontu dvou let. V závěru této části jsou hodnoceny výsledky dotazníkového šetření a na základě těchto výsledků jsou navržena konkrétní doporučení pro zlepšení implementace ESG strategií a optimalizaci procesů spojených se zpracováním ESG dat.

Abstrakt:
This diploma thesis focuses on analysing the extent of IT technology utilization and advanced technological trends in the implementation of the ESG strategy within the mobile operators’ sector in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part defines the concept of ESG, its importance for businesses, ESG strategy, its implementation, and related legislation. This part also explores the role of IT trends such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain, and their impact on the implementation of ESG strategies. Additionally, an overview of specialized software for ESG data management, their functionalities, and available ERP tools and modules for ESG data management is provided. The second part of the thesis focuses on formulating and testing research hypotheses through a questionnaire survey. Using the obtained data, the hypotheses are evaluated, and the current state of ESG strategy implementation in selected companies is compared with their expectations over the next two years. The results of the questionnaire survey are then assessed, and based on these results, specific recommendations are made to improve the implementation of ESG strategies and optimize the processes associated with ESG data management.
