Greenwashing a bluewashing na evropských letištích: komparativní analýza tvrzení a reality

This bachelor’s thesis examines the issue of deceptive environmental and social practices, specifically the phenomena of greenwashing and bluewashing, in the context of selected European airports. The aim of the thesis was to use a comparative analysis of available data to identify the extent and nature of these deceptive practices and to assess the discrepancy between official corporate communications and the actual state of affairs in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility. The theoretical section involved a literature review of current academic findings and the definition of key concepts related to the topic. The practical part was based on a content analysis of ESG reports, annual reports, and external employee review platforms. The results of the analysis of the selected entities did not reveal any direct, intentional misleading statements; however, they highlighted the considerable complexity of the issue and the existence of information asymmetry and a lack of transparency, where the public presentation of airports often does not correspond to the subjective experiences and expectations of the public.
