Development strategy of Armenian Youth Association of the Czech Republic, from the board member’s perspective

The objective of this thesis is to suggest strategic development of Armenian Youth Association of the Czech Republic based on the needs of its members and partners. The first part of the study explores the theory and methodology: it explains the concept of association and its functioning, subsequently clarifies the procedure of analysis and its processing. The second part of the work is a practical solution of recommendations for the strategic development of the association selected topic. It is based on internal analysis. Internal analysis explores organisation structure, vision and further plans through in-depth interviews analysis focuses on the current members and potential members, here the aim is to understand their experience and expectations from the association. The analysis areis followed by a set of recommendations suited to the long-term goals of the association. As the association is completely non-profit, the recommendations have zero –cost impact . The outcome aims to propose strategic development that would be appropriate for implementation into the future plans of Armenian Youth Association of the Czech Republic.
