| Abstract: | Diplomová práce konfrontuje východiska politické a ekonomické transformace Československa a České republiky s metodologií a poznatky teorií institucionální ekonomie. Hlavní hypotézou práce je myšlenka, že opatření československé transformace nebyla aplikována s ohledem na vliv společenského zakotvení v rámci kulturních a historických vlivů. V první části je definována metodologie institucionální ekonomie na základě prací Ronalda Coase a Olivera Williamsona. Předmětem druhé části je nástin historicko-politického kontextu československé transformace. Východiska, cíle a prostředky politické a ekonomické transformace a jejich kompatibilitu zkoumáme ve třetí kapitole. V poslední části strukturujeme soubor dat Světové banky, na jehož základě srovnáváme veličiny, které jsou důležitou částí složky endogenních vlivů institucionalizace. Závěr práce zaujímá kritické stanovisko k výsledkům politické a ekonomické transformace v oblasti hospodářské prosperity. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis looks into the matter of political and economic transformation of Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic through lenses of institutional economics theories. It claims that the transformation measures did not consider the social embeddedness within cultural and historical limitations. The first part of the paper defines the methodology of institutional economics based mainly on Ronald Coase's and Oliver Williamson's work. The following part aims to draw an image of historical and political context of Czechoslovak transformation. The compatibility of conditions, goals and means of the transformation is being considered in the third part. Finally, the work structures and evaluates World Bank's data set that forms an important part of endogenous influences of institutionalisation. The conclusion judges the outcome of political and economical transformation rather critically. |
