| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vzájemným vztahem ochrany životního prostředí a konkurenceschopnosti Evropské unie. Na začátku práce je uvedeno, proč se ochrana životního prostředí dostala do popředí zájmu, a jak postupný vývoj vedl až ke vzniku samostatné politiky ochrany životního prostředí v Evropské unii. Hlavním úkolem práce je chrakterizovat vzájemný vztah mezi ekonomickými a ekologickými cíli v EU. Popsána je jak politika ochrany životního prostředí EU a její vliv na konkurenceschopnost EU, tak současná strategie EU na rozvoj její konkurenceschopnosti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with a mutual relation between the competitiveness and environmental protection in the European Union. At the beginning, there is mentioned, why environmental protection has become an important priority. The main task of this bachelor thesis is to characterize a mutual interaction between environmental and economic objectives in the EU. There is described the EU environmental policy and its impact on the EU competitiveness. The EU strategy to strengthen its competitiveness is characterised as well. |
