| Abstract: | Diplomová práce nejprve v teoretické části seznámí s nejčastějším nezhoubným onemocněním u mužů nad 50 let zvaným benigní hyperplazie prostaty a to zejména z pohledu anatomie, etiopatogeneze, symptomatologie, komplikací, vyšetření a léčby. Další součástí teoretické části je charakteristika nákladových analýz užívaných ve zdravotnictví: CMA, CEA, CUA a CBA. V praktické části je provedena analýza efektivnosti léčby metodou fotoselektivní vaporizace prostaty a metodou transuretrální resekce prostaty s využitím nákladové analýzy CEA. |

| Abstract: | The theoretical part of my thesis at first introduces the most common benign neoplasm in men over fifty, a non cancerous prostate gland enlargement called the benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). The main focus of this section will be on BPH's anatomy, etiology, symptomatology, complications, diagnosis and therapy. I will also describe four cost analyses used in health services: CMA, CEA, CUA and CBA. In the practical section of my thesis I will analyze the therapy effectiveness of transurethral resection of the prostate and photoselective vaporization of the prostate with the use of cost-effectiveness analysis. |
