| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na srovnání postavení amerického dolaru a eura na mezinárodních měnových trzích. Úvodní kapitola se věnuje obecných informacím potřebným ke zkoumání postavení měny na mezinárodních měnových trzích. Následující dvě části představují stručnou historii amerického dolaru a eura. Čtvrtá kapitola analyzuje postavení eura a dolaru podle kritérií nastíněných v první kapitole. Poslední část nastiňuje možné scénáře vývoje na mezinárodních měnových trzích. |

| Abstract: | The work focuses on the comparison of the position of the U.S. dollar and the euro on international currency markets. The first chapter is devoted to general information needed to examine the status of currencies on international monetary markets. The following two sections present a short history of the U.S. dollar and the euro. The fourth chapter analyzes the euro and dollar against the criteria outlined in the first chapter. The last section outlines possible scenarios for the international currency markets. |
